The same argument, only worse
kevinolzak20 July 2016
"Second Coming of Della" continues the same argument between Ed Brown and landlady Della J. Rogers (Della Reese), only worse. This time Ed becomes so frustrated that he breaks the sign on his garage and proclaims the business to be Chico's. Once again the young mechanic has to wrack his brains to figure out how to crack Della's icy façade and bring the retiring Ed back into the fold. Once Chico gets Ed away from his television set, he convinces him that Della's best offer came from Margaret's Massage Parlor! The outrage of having his late wife's name attached to such a sordid business is enough to shock Ed into signing a new 10 year lease: "is this your idea of helping your fellow man?" (Chico: "well, I know some fellow men are going to enjoy it!").
