One early Olivier Marchal's performance, and a good one.

I am usually scared to death before watching TF1 garbage channel stuff, made for families, home audiences. I avoid this kind of stuff like a plague. But concerning COMMISSAIRE MOULIN show, I have only seen a couple of episodes and I must admit that I was not deceived. Some specialists say that this rather long TV series had several very different seasons, some funny, light, and others far darker, more violent, turning from comedy to the noir atmosphere, with no more humour. So, this episode is of course evidently TV made, although very efficient in the story telling and pure technical directing. Don't miss the first five minutes. And only for the Olivier Marchal's performance - and he also wrote the story - if you are one of his fans, don't hesitate to see this episode. A brutal, action packed gangster story, with a bunch of blood thirsty arm robbers tracked down by the Sweeney, flying squad. Anti-gang team. Alain Figlarz plays one of the hoodlums. This guy is specialized in this kind of roles, as Joe Prestia, and also a stunt in many French action flicks. I repeat, you have here the usual TV series ingredients, especially in the dialogues, but the overall atmosphere announces the further Olivier Marchal's work, I mean a pessimistic way to describe cops among them, their codes, their language...Some poignant moments, very surprising for TF1 garbage channel.
