The ending of this story is absurd.
The same plot line was used in another TV show called Streets of San Francisco, Hall of Mirrors. In that show, lily-white actor David Soul shamefully admits that his parents are Hispanic, and he has hidden it all these years. Not possible! The same thing happens again in this episode of Dan August. Only this time the white guy's mother is black. And he has kept this a secret for years, even from his wife? Sorry, it just doesn't work. It wrecks the whole thing. Waste of time to watch it.
