Warning: Spoilers
Diagnosis Murder is a product of the Clinton era, Murder She Wrote is a product of Reagan-Bush, and Diagnosis Murder isn't afraid to deal with the hard issues like the dark side of executive dating agencies in this episode. One thing I liked was seeing a 1995 mobile phone, which was quite advanced for its time. The only other person with a mobile phone on screen at that time was Mulder in The X-Files.

Fun episode

Dr Sloan's friend hangs himself, however he suspects they might be foul play and links it to a dating agency. This is a good episode with some hilarious scenes such as the bit where Dr Sloan is dating a woman whose former husband has a penchant for hitting anyone who comes near her. Steve Sloan wires up his dad, who constantly says "I'm getting out of the car -over - I'm going inside the restaurant- over - I'm sitting downstairs enough - over. Etc ". This highlights Dick Van Dykes' comic timing.
