The Kings of Comedy

Dick Van Dyke's comedy pals and legendary icons Harvey Korman and Tim Conway guest star as Harvey Huckaby (not Huckabee) and Tim Conrad, respectively. It's an opportunity for Korman and Conway to display their comedy genius to a new generation of viewers in the 90s and beyond thanks to reruns. Great to see them in top form. In fact Tim passed away only last year.

The next episode is the season 4 finale and also the final appearance of Michael Tucci (no relation to Stanley).

Warning: Spoilers
Yes, there is a murder but was it the wrong victim? This episode is basically an hour-long sketch for comedy genius Tim Conway (Tim Conrad) and the best straight man in the business Harvey Korman (Harvey Huckaby). Harvey made a movie deal for millions by selling off the rights to the comedy of Huckaby and Conrad just after he bought those rights from Conrad for $25,000. Conrad is off to kill his partner by a) shooting him (fails) b) poisoning (him fails) c) drowning him (fails). But Conrad's ex-wife who is now Huckaby's current wife ends up dead. So, who did her in? Conway gets all the best bits, and we even get to see a smidgen of the old dentist/patient bit from the Carol Burnett show. Mark doesn't believe Tim has the ability or smarts to have actually rewired the pool cover which was the murder weapon; but somebody did. For most of the episode the Huckaby character is selfish and self-absorbed, such that he cheats everyone so there are possible suspects. Forget who did it, it's really not important; and Susan Huckaby isn't around long enough for viewers to care about her. What you want is more Tim bumbling his way through the episode to the inevitable happy ending. Always liked Diagnosis Murder when it poked fun at its own premise. Here you keep looking to see if Carol Burnett will show up like Hitchcock, just a passing glance. If she did then you have sharper eyes than me.

I used to be to watch the Carol and Burnette. Even though I then went to I didn't know what find it was Tim Conway and funny. Remember that him from mchales was navy, he was a more serious man idiotic than he was funny. Like a he was a trying to too many hard times to make him be funny. I've never seen found a out of his the way stuff was you or thought you were was funny, years ago ago really wasn't.
