- [the first girl turns red, the second green and the third blue]
- Walt Disney: Whoops. I must've said the wrong words. Let's see. Ah, I know. NBC! Color TV!
- [the girls all turned into their colored forms]
- Walt Disney: Well, that's more like it.
- Ludwig Von Drake: [referring to the NBC Peacock] How do you like that guy? I'm gonna let you in on something. Confidentially, he dyed his feathers.
- Ludwig Von Drake: Dis whole program is being seen in color! And dat's a lie! You know dat's a lie! 'Cause only da people wid color TV sets is seeing it in color! Ha ha ha ha!
- Ludwig Von Drake: [his first lines] Good evening, now da first thing I would like to say is...
- [a spotlight hits the professor]
- Ludwig Von Drake: Look out! Dat crazy! Where are you going wid dat thing? Ha ha! Oh, look! How do you like dat? I thought dat was a motorcycle coming at me and it was da spotlight was hitting me 'cause I'm da professor and I'm gonna give a lecture. Ha ha ha!
- Ludwig Von Drake: [to the pianist] All right, hit a note.
- [the pianist hits a note]
- Ludwig Von Drake: "DAY!" Oh! Ha ha ha ha! I was reading a fly speck! Get offa dere, you kooky fly, you!
- Ludwig Von Drake: [Von Drake is fiddling with things behind a television set, specifically the colored cathode-ray bulbs] Now as you see, the red tube picks up red. The blue picks up blue.
- [goes below the TV again and sings]
- Ludwig Von Drake: Bluedy picks up de blue...
- [comes up again with a pickle in a jar instead of a colored light bulb]
- Ludwig Von Drake: And green, of course, picks up...
- [sees the pickle]
- Ludwig Von Drake: PICKLE! Look at that little honey there! Ha ha ha! I was wondering where I put that! Look at that pickle - this is a real dilly.
- [takes a bite]
- Ludwig Von Drake: [talking on a phone] You want to know how color TV works? Well, it works very good.
- Walt Disney: [turning the scenery to color from black and white] Color does brighten things up, doesn't it?
- Ludwig Von Drake: Take yellow and blue and you got yourself a green thumb. Oh, you should see my chrysanthe... my crynsanthem... . You should see my petunias!
