Hmmm. I watched four episodes (episodes 18-21 of season 4) of "Dragnet" today and all seemed very average. This does not mean they were bad shows--just not particularly distinguished.
This particular show is about someone manufacturing amphetamines. Early in the show, a user is caught and he quickly betrays his source in order to try to make a deal. The house he identified was indeed an illegal drug manufacturing warehouse but the owner was no where to be found. Eventually, though, the detectives are able to locate a man who claims to be the sole owner of this drug operation. However, considering that the facts don't completely match up, Friday is wondering if the guy is actually covering for someone big--someone who is the real brains behind the outfit.
Not bad at all--decent acting and plot. Just not a whole lot to distinguish this one one way or the other.
