When Procustan hears Norma opening the door, he tells the detectives it must be his wife. However, when she confesses to altering the check, she claims she did it so they could go home and get married.
When Friday is demonstrating the "money maker" machine, he shows that it uses a real bill and two blank sheets of paper, supposedly copying the bill onto the blank sheets. However, when he cranks the machine over, the hidden compartment contains only two bills instead of the three bills (one real and two copies onto blank sheets) that one would expect.
Throughout the episode, the investigation is over a period of several days. Yet there is a lady assistant at the police department that interacts with Friday and Gannon. In each scene, she is always wearing the same purple outfit.
When Sgt. Friday approaches the interview stage, he specifically stomps out his cigarette. It is very visible on the tile floor. When he leaves the stage, from the same angle, the cigarette is gone.
Friday's narration claims he is to appear on the Dexter show in place of Lieutenant Ron Brighter, who is involved with the bank examiner swindle. However, Friday and Gannon solved the bank examiner case much earlier in the season, with Friday specifically noting that it was an extremely rare swindle in Los Angeles.
The Medal of Honor shown is the Army version. The Marines use the Naval design.
A person awarded the Medal of Honor is a "recipient", not a "winner" as was stated several times. Also there is no Congressional Medal of Honor as it repeatedly was called. It's the Medal of Honor, awarded in the name of Congress by the President.
On the set of the Jerry Dexter TV show, a boom mic operator is seen at work, even though Dexter and his guest Sgt. Friday have their own desk mikes. Additionally, boom microphones were used as a backup in case the desk mics failed.
When Friday and Gannon leave the squad room, they're only shown taking a box, which contains props for the TV interview. However, when they're in the studio, the floor manager picks up a suitcase from the floor [between Gannon and Friday], right after taking the props box from Friday. After the interview, he returns both the box and suitcase to Friday and Gannon.
As Jerry Dexter is going to commercial he tells Friday, on-air, "before we continue, sergeant, let's take this minute to hear from [our] sponsor", as though he intends to continue the segment after the advertisement. However, as soon as they are off the air, he thanks Friday for his time and sends him on his way.
