Dr. Green in a bomb suit....
slak96u20 February 2022
The whole bomb vest guy storyline was ridiculous, between Benton and Green. Not great...

It is funny to see yet another plotline Grey's ripped off of ER though. Not a bad episode, but not a great one.

Medicaly outdated

Benton's son finaly starts his hearing-treatment. The episode is excelnt mentioning hyper-new technologies, then they go of course the traditional way. Which at that time was to teach deaf people speak. As for today the stand is revisioned, and sign-language is preferred as first-language for hearingly impaired, I wonder how the story would look like today.

They Treat Horses, Don't They? (#5.3)

Warning: Spoilers
A good episode with a variety of interesting patients. There was a guy with a knife in his head, a guy with a bomb and even a horse.

I did like the horse story, it was of course very small and mainly humorous but I loved how they did it. Mark was trying to get closer to his daughter after he noticed in the morning that she won't talk to him the way she does to her mother. And Jerry was pretty awesome in it, ah his face when dealing with a horse!.

Carter had to make an important and hard decision. This story about the old lady without DNR had a lot of good scenes. He really looked more mature than ever before. Although one was not surprised, it was the only way for it to end.

We also have a familiar face, Ashley Johnson, as Dana Ellis, a young cancer patient who may lose her leg. I recognized her face and turned out she was Krissy Seaver on growing Pains. Really disliked her on that show but she was pretty good here.

The star of the episode to me though was Dr. Weaver. She was showing a lot of emotions such as stress and irritation, absolutely great acting and am looking to see what will happen to her and the title.
