While I will give this episode plenty of credit for having two fairly original stories, I was slightly disappointed the way they(stories)wrapped up, as both seemed a bit rushed. The familiar faces include Diane Baker, Hugh O'Brian, Toni Tennille, Peter Lawford(one of his final gigs), James Wainwright, Monte Markham, and James Hong. One story, "Three Feathers", has a man(O'Brian)wishing to explain his disappearance to the folks he supposedly abandoned after a plane crashed, since he was the pilot. Three actors in this story were very good, even Lawford, who went through the motions, but wasn't that bad either. My problem was with how convenient and pedestrian the story became after an intriguing start, especially how solid the characters were. The other story, "Crescendo", has a woman(Tennille)wishing to meet the composer of her songs. The catch is that the composer(Markham)has been cursed with the face on an animal, and he dons a rather silly looking mask which a 5th grader could've developed. You'd think that the woman would have pity? Not really, as all she does is to attempt to escape his castle, even though he was being very cordial to her. I really disliked Tennille here, plus I didn't buy her wanting to go back to the man, after Mr. Rourke's persistence. As I said above, I still found this story interesting at the beginning, but totally falls apart by show's end. I feel that both stories had much potential, but lost any momentum by the end of the stories.
