Father Brown investigates a spate of burglaries, and hunts for a jewel thief, who's given the name of Michael Moonshine., Father Brown's old friend Michael Smith is suspected.
The wonderfully titled Man with two beards is my contender for the best episode from the show, I think this one has multiple great elements.
There is a wonderful streak of cleverness in this story, it starts off in an amiable enough manner, and then comes the twist, and it really is a quite shocking moment, it's so unexpected.
A wonderful cast here, with some very well known faces, we have Megs Jenkins, Bill Maynard, Larry Noble and Brian Croucher. I am such a fan of Fabia Drake, not a huge part as Lady Pulman, but what a brilliant delivery, that voice, fabulous.
Credit to Larry Noble, for the way he handled those bees, he had no protection on him, he didn't flinch once, More was a bit more cautious.
9/10.
