Carlos Ramirez's wooden cabin cruiser 'Caprice' was manufactured by The Trojan Boat Company in the 1960's. The company crafted wooden boats up until 1972, when it switched to fiberglass. In 1992 the brand and assets were sold, and the original business ended.

Nonetheless, he sings the rest of the lyrics correctly, commonly thought to be about plucking the feathers from a lark, in retribution for being woken up by its song.
