Dawn, Frank's niece, has a friend - an aspiring young Irish actress named 'Siobhan' ( Emer McCourt ). She is talented. To her uncle's embarrassment, she recreates the famous 'orgasm' scene from 'When Harry Met Sally' in a London restaurant. He takes her to a movie premiere, insisting she remove her glasses first. At a party, they mingle with the likes of Ken Russell, Barbara Windsor, Wayne Sleep, and Kate O'Mara. A chance meeting with an ambitious young film-maker named 'Ken' ( John Gordon Sinclair, of 'Gregory's Girl' fame ) opens a window of opportunity for Siobhan. He wants her to star in a 1990's version of 'Last Tango In Paris'....
Good episode, with Frank taking a firm moral stance to stop Siobhan becoming trapped in the web of seedy 1990's porn culture. Initially, the girl does not seem bothered at the prospect of getting her kit off for the edification of the grubby mac brigade, but then Frank finds out she is no pushover. The ending may well have been inspired by the conclusion of the first 'Budgie' episode, entitled 'Out'. Denis Lill, who was Rodney Trotter's father-in-law in 'Only Fools And Horses', appears as porn tycoon 'Cyril'.
