- Micki Foster: I have seen many strange things, but I'm not going to believe that a comic book came to life.
- Ryan Dallion: [talking about comics] I just, uh, read 'em and sell them at the store. It's a great set-up. In fact, I think I'm getting a free education out of this. I should have at least a PhD in comic book art.
- Ryan Dallion: Must have been some pretty wild scenes to get cut from 'Ferrus'.
- Jay Star: Wild? Ferrus... Ferrus was nothing. Nothing compared to some of the things I've seen. Frogs falling from the skies, people bursting into flames. It's a world of cruel miracles. Nothing surprises me.
- Jay Star: They stole, connived, wriggled their way to the top. The worms always know where the bodies are buried.
- Micki Foster: There's got to be something we can do.
- Ryan Dallion: There is. I just haven't thought of it yet. Give me a couple of minutes.
- Micki Foster: What do we do if he won't let us see it?
- Ryan Dallion: We appeal to his better nature.
- Micki Foster: Offer him money.
- Ryan Dallion: You got it.
- Micki Foster: Nice to know there's some things in life you can still count on.
