The Horse Coper
Prismark1015 April 2023
Jim Newton needs to raise $100 and he has to sell some of his horses.

The horse coper is a dealer and Pigott comes round to value the horses in Jim's ranch. The dealer is not known for his generous valuations and does not think much of Jim's horses.

The exception being Fury. The circus would be interested in a horse like Fury once he is tamed. Only Jim is not willing to sell him to Pigott

Pigott departs with a parting shot. Any horses running wild in public land can be taken away for free.

Joey wants to do his bit to help raise funds for Jim. With a friend he looks to raise money at the circus. So they go to see Pigott as he connections.

Only for the wily Pigott gets Joey to do the tricks on public land, a state park without Fury's saddle.

He takes Fury on his trailer and drives off. Joey is at the back trying to free Fury. Jim informs the police when he hears what has happened.

The moral of the story. You cannot trust some adults. Don't have ideas to help raise money without permission. Pigott should had been slung in jail. Joey was too soft on him. It only encourages more crimes.
