Ginger calls Mary Ann Mary Poppins again in The Hunter.
At 21:46, Ginger says, "Thank you, Mary Poppins." This an allusion to P. L. Travers' book series Mary Poppins. It is also an allusion to the Julie Andrews film version, which was released in 1964. Mary Poppins was always optimistic, cheery, and positive in her outlook.
At 10:18, the Skipper says, "Come on, Dr. Kildare." This is an allusion to the popular M.G.M. series of movies based on the Dr. Kildare series and a nod to the N.B.C. television series Dr. Kildare, beginning in 1961, starring Richard Chamberlain.
