While Rory is away in Europe, Lorelai keeps busy around town. Fortunately, she and Rory make up. Rory writes a letter to Dean and asks Lorelai to deliver it to him. Lindsey finds the letter and breaks things off with Dean. After Rory returns home, her and Lorelai go walking through town and run into Lindsey and her mom and words are exchanged.
