"The Weekend" finds James planning a weekend celebration for his 20th wedding anniversary, in a cabin set up by a fellow worker. Willona laments that she came up only 18 1/2 years short of the same goal! All alone in the cabin, wearing Willona's gift of Oriental garments, the children at home, everything's in place for a romantic get together. Unfortunately, Florida is so worried about the kids that she leaves for a pay phone down the road, while James receives an unexpected visit from gorgeous model Gloria Jackson (Judy Pace), who was expecting to see his buddy Charlie, a week early for their rendezvous. Florida returns in time to find her husband not alone and definitely blushing! Judy Pace was of course a real model and fine actress, a welcome addition to shows like KUNG FU and SANFORD AND SON.
