- The Green Hornet and Kato search for a cache of narcotics hidden aboard a dry-docked ship, and their only lead is in a coma.
- Two million dollars worth of narcotics have been smuggled into the country, and the only man who knows where they are, Gus Wander, is brought to a hospital in a coma. His associates have no clue where to begin looking. But The Green Hornet has an approximate idea, due to some earlier work. He tracks down the head of the operation in hopes of finding the narcotics and bringing the criminals to justice. On the pretense of wanting a piece of the action, he offers his help in locating the drugs. But the crooks have no plans of sharing, and set up for "Honey Boy" to finish him off.—Twenty Penguins
- The Green Hornet goes into a salvage yard where a freighter, The Sally Bell which was lost at sea was recently salvaged. He sees a man entering the freighter and chases him. He falls on his head and is unconscious. So he brings him to the hospital so he can be treated. He then goes home and meets with Scanlon to tell him that he got a tip from one of his overseas bureaus that 2 million is narcotics was being brought on the freighter but because it was lost at sea, he couldn't inform Scanlon about it. The man he brought to the hospital, Gus Wander is the one who hid it and is the only who knows where it is. Later the man who brought the drugs learns about Wander and sends his man to get him. Scanlon calls to ask about Wander but the thug is there and is taking Wander and the doctor who insists he won't make it without her. Scanlon about to call the police when Britt realizes who brought the drugs. So he tells Scanlon this could be their chance to get him red handed. So as the Green Hornet he goes to see the man and they decide to bring Wander to the freighter and hopefully he can be awake long enough to say where he hid them.
