GRIFF was a short lived television series of the early 1970s that starred BATTLESTAR GALACTICA'S Lorne Greene as the titular private investigator. In this episode, guest villain Ricardo Montalban plays a crazed guy who creates a homemade bomb and uses it to take a number of people hostage. Griff's job is to try to meet his demands and save the hostages. Having never experienced the series before, I found this well paced and suspenseful, quite engaging to boot. Greene was a likable presence on screen and Montalban gives a convincing turn as a man driven to the edge.
