  Ben : For one, the kids door was left unlocked. Che checked everything in the kids room. Toys, clothes, everything... There was a plastic cup on the bed stand. She had a cup of hot chocolate before going to bed... There was a mild barbituate in the chocolate.

• Det. Steve McGarrett : [to Ben]  Get over to the kidnap house and pick up that babysitter... What's her name? Anna Kawena

  Ben : What charge?

  Det. Steve McGarrett : Well, if she put sleeping pills in that kid's chocolate, it's complicity in kidnapping... Go, Ben.

• Det. Steve McGarrett : [Mrs. Scott arrives, and they are looking at the ransom note]  When did this arrive?

  Marian Scott : Oh, about 11:00 this morning... No, about 11:30.

  Det. Steve McGarrett : Why didn't you call the police?

  Marian Scott : Well, I was frightened... It said not to.

  Det. Steve McGarrett : Strange, it was mailed yesterday afternoon in Waikiki.

  Marian Scott : How is that strange?

  Det. Steve McGarrett : It was mailed before the kidnapping... Isn't that strange?

• Marian Scott : [Mrs Scott can't beleive her daughter orchestrated the kidnapping]  Mr. McGarrett, many things are possible, but that my daughter would jeopardize her child's life?... No, Mr. McGarrett, no.

  Det. Steve McGarrett : Mrs, Scott, you got a ransom note... Your grandchild's up there on that hill with two men who are friends of your daughter's... Now, what would you make of that?

  Marian Scott : I don't know... I just don't know

  Ben : Steve, I went to pick up the babysitter, Anna Kawena... She'd taken off. I checked her own pad and found out she'd scooted out of there too, bag and baggage.

  Ben : Already did.

• Eadie Scott : [Eadie arrives, and is looking up at the hill where Debbie is]  Oh, my God... Is that where she is?

  Eadie Scott : I've left her with Anna before... Where was Anna?

  Marian Scott : Those friends of yours... That giant, that mental cripple and his friend..They've got Debbie up there.

  Marian Scott : What? Luther?... No, you're wrong. You're wrong!

• Eadie Scott : [Talking to McGarrett about Debbie]  She's gonna be alright, you see, because you don't know Luther... He loves children. He wouldn't hurt a fly... And he especially loves Debbie.

• Det. Steve McGarrett : [Ready to go up the hill]  Ben, get yourself a vest and a weapon... We're going up. Chin you can take over communications.

  Det. Steve McGarrett : Duke, you can stop traffic from the lighthouse to Fort Ruger.

• Det. Steve McGarrett : [Giving instructions to Danny]  Danno, we're gonna split into three units... You take the left flank. Ben, you take the right... All set?

• Det. Steve McGarrett : [to Danny]  When you get to positions, I'll signal the chopper to staert dropping tear gas and smoke... Now I wanna give him one more chance to come down, so hold your fire. If he doesn't, I'll go up the middle... Okay, go.

• Det. Steve McGarrett : [On bullhorn to Luther]  Luther, we don't wanna hurt you, so walk down now... Just leave your rifle there and come on down... No one's going to harm you.

• Luther : [Thinking McGarrett is a soldier]  Sergeant!

  Det. Steve McGarrett : Yes, sir!

  Luther : Sergeant, that hill up there... We can take it.
