Should Have Been a Musical Episode

Ginger Rogers plays herself in this episode in which she goes incognito (in a Marlo Thomas wig and sunglasses) to a film festival showing her old pictures. It is there that Lucy inadvertently insults her, so Ms. Rogers leaves in a huff, forgetting her purse, which Lucy finds and schemes to return.

This is one of the rare instances where you actually WISH for that show-within-a-show format, because the short Charleston scene in the Carter's living room that is performed by Lucille, Lucie and Ginger leaves you wanting more.

I'm subtracting one star because this one was filmed without an audience because Ms. Ball wanted it in the can due to threat of a strike. Although canned laughter has been added, it just isn't the same.
