- An immortal kills Wolf's former boss's brother beacuse he was falsely declared a war hero. The same immortal wants to kill Amanda beacuse she killed 120 of his men by accident. Wolf saves her.
While usually at loggerheads with his former superior (Carl Magnus), Nick is drawn into the investigation of his brother Donald's (a former soldier who has a drinking problem and is living on skid row) death. Clues lead to an Immortal soldier (John Fielding) who knew Amanda from WW1 and Donald Magnus from the Gulf War. While he and Nick butt heads both publicly and privately, Amanda comes to terms with the fact that she played a role in the deaths of 120 servicemen. While she is prepared to surrender herself in the name of honor, Nick is not so complacent.
