Quotes

  • The Keeper : What a handsome pair of specimens you are.

Maj. Don West : I wish you wouldn't refer to us as animals. We're intelligent beings.

The Keeper : You're entitled to your opinion, of course.

  • The Keeper : In all the galaxy no animals have given me as much trouble as yourselves. Is this thing you call freedom so precious?

Prof. John Robinson : In our world since the beginning of time, men and women have fought and died for it.

The Keeper : Foolish, foolish creatures.

Maj. Don West : Maybe so, but it's what sets us apart from all the others.

The Keeper : You are not worth further efforts on my part.

  • Maj. Don West : How do you know who we are?

The Keeper : You are not alone in space. All the planets have eyes.

  • The Keeper : I have found some animals from planet Earth. They would make an interesting addition to our collection.

Lighted Head Leader : Then select the two best specimens.

The Keeper : Unfortunately Earth people live by reason as well as by instinct. My staff has no power over them.

Lighted Head Leader : Are you sure?

The Keeper : A man named Smith is the only exception. A poor specimen. There're also two children.

Lighted Head Leader : Will your staff exercise control over them?

The Keeper : I hesitate to use my staff for fear of damaging them, but perhaps I could get them by other means.

Lighted Head Leader : Very well, then. You may proceed.

  • The Keeper : Sorry to startle you, children. I've been around animals so long I've begun to move as quietly as they do.

Will Robinson : We were concentrating hard on our work or we would have heard you.

The Keeper : I'm sure you would have. The young have very sharp ears.

  • Will Robinson : Are you out hunting for animals, Mr. Keeper?

The Keeper : In a manner of speaking, yes.

  • The Keeper : I see you've changed your minds about leaving.

Will Robinson : [mesmerized]  We're sorry, sir. We really want to stay with you.

Penny Robinson : [mesmerized]  For always, Mr. Keeper. Always.

The Keeper : And so you shall, for always.

  • Dr. Zachary Smith : I want to talk to you, sir.

The Keeper : What could you say that would be of interest to me?

Dr. Zachary Smith : How would you like to add some new animals to your collection?

The Keeper : Are you referring to members of the Robinson party?

Dr. Zachary Smith : Certainly not, sir. I assure you they are a very poor selection indeed. But it's an entirely different story on Earth. The planet literally swarms with all sorts of strange creatures.

The Keeper : [wearied]  Yes, I'm beginning to realize that.

  • The Keeper : Now go before my anger clouds my judgement and I destroy you.
