At one point Hawkeye does not have the cast on his broken finger when he is congratulating Radar as Radar is told he is going home.
As Radar leaves camp for the final time, the jeep is about to drive under the arch saying "Best Care Anywhere".
In the next wide shot of the compound, with the jeep exiting, the "Best Care Anywhere" arch is no where to be seen.

Radar says that "everybody in Ottumwa is gonna be there" at his Uncle Ed's funeral. However, several sources state that the population of Ottumwa in 1950 -- approximately two years before this episode is set -- was more than 33,600. Clearly, it would be impossible for 33,000+ people to attend a funeral. In reality, Ottumwa, Iowa, was hardly the sleepy rural hamlet that the show implied.
The reason for Radar's hardship discharge is that he's the last surviving male member of his family. But in Officer of the Day (1974), Radar discloses that he has a brother who was classified as 4-F and is a box boy at a grocery store. Thus, Radar should not have received the hardship discharge.
One main story line to both part 1 and part 2 is the generator went AWOL (Absent With Out 'Lectricity) When the 4 doctors are checking out the Wangensteen Suction device, Hawkeye asks "What next? Hamster power for the X-Ray machine?" At around the 8 minute mark, they are operating outside using headlights for light and there are X-Rays hanging up around the doctors. They powered the X-Ray with Jeep batteries since there was no electricity.
