Father Mulcahy comes down with hepatitis. Potter orders the whole camp to have their blood tested and to get a shot. Meanwhile, Hawkeye is bent over with a bad back, even though there seems to be nothing obviously wrong with it. Unfortunately, he is given the job of traversing the camp doing the blood tests and giving the shots. Along the way, he offers advice. While BJ is doing a surgery he has never performed before, Hawkeye has one on one with Frank, Margaret, and Radar. Frank, of course, thinks he is dying. Margaret and he get into their usual banter with Margaret worrying about Donald's mother's opinion of her. Hawkeye gives Radar advice about why his celibacy is a gift and that he should stop worrying about his image to guys who don't really know him. Hawkeye had been holding forth on a doctor from his hometown who is getting tons of attention, even though he is mediocre. Anyway, this is a modest episode and has some good moments.
