I don't know what they were doing here, but whatever it was, it was boring af. Maybe it was a spinoff attempt with the oddball insurance person? I don't know. It just didn't work.
To top it off they had Randy Travis on. His character was boring. The interactions between him and Ben were cringy. Kind of slow with long pauses, and uninteresting. Too much screen time. Yet this is where Ben was most of the episode with this fella trying to get his house painted, while Michelle and the insurance guy handled the investigation. They had Randy singing. I find his music and singing boring. Sorry, just being honest here about my tastes. We all have different tastes, right? Anyway, too much of him singing. Maybe other people like his music. Ok, but the scenes with him and Ben were boring. Randy was pretty much playing himself. I think that's the problem. It might have been more interesting if he played a character completely opposite from himself. Maybe he should have been the insurance person? Now that might have been interesting.
Anyway, I couldn't get through it and bailed halfway through. The whole thing was boring from Michelle and the insurance guy to Ben and Randy Travis. What a disappointment. 3/10.
