Night Court peaked with this show and stayed near the top creatively speaking for most of the time until show creator Reinhold Weege departed after season 6. The idea of cramming in a massive number of cases in a single session worked so well that they did variations on it again and again. This is the 15th episode with the most established cast for the series. Marsha Warfield replaced Florence Halop who passed away much like who she replaced, Selma Diamond had. The main cast never changed again.
