The O.Sea (#2.23)

Warning: Spoilers
Seth and Zach have to decide who goes with Summer to prom and who goes to meet George Lucas. They flip a coin but end up both at the role they didn't really want. Julie wants to postpone the divorce by slipping Caleb a pill but changes her mind yet he ends up dying. Ryan suspects Marissa of cheating and doesn't know whom to believe, her or Trey, but Theresa opens his eyes.

Well, not a bad episode. I was a bit surprised how easily Kirsten recovered after that insane accident last episode, but OK it doesn't have to be believable. The ending with Caleb's death was way more shocking. Sad to see the character go, but this may be good for Julie.

And the Seth/Zach issue resolved pretty well, both ended up being happy and this is good. Was also good to see George Lucas in this episode, the conversation in his scene was kind of ridiculous but pretty fitting to OC.

For Seth, it's clearly a perfect episode.

Warning: Spoilers
Seth and Zach squabble over who should take Summer to the prom and who will meet George Lucas for dinner; Sandy takes drastic actions with a recovering Kirsten; Ryan starts to piece together what happened between Trey and Marissa, courtesy of Theresa; Julie's attempts to poison Caleb take a surprise turn.

Seth must make the toughest choice of all: meet George Lucas, or take Summer to the prom! Kirsten still gives the impression of that never-grown-up cheerleader, or daddy's little girl, or whatever. She is wearing pink and she is not really as sexy as Julie and she's definitely not as mature as Julie or so.

George Lucas' presence in "The O.C." was stellar, he talking with Seth was really cool. It's nice that he agreed to represent himself on a T.V. show. I loved Sandy's irony about "Shawn of the Dead" being a very nice zombie romantic comedy.
