Most Excellent episode!
revbish-31 January 2019
This delicious episode more than makes up for the lame one entitled "The Hunt", when the script writers were seemingly on vacation. The plot of this one captivated my interest from beginning to surprise ending, and nowhere in between did I guess what would happen. Wonderful!

The Dummy
Prismark101 December 2023
Who is the dummy? Marcel Benoit who came over from France to kill ventriloquist Marvelous Marvon.

He is a renowned and well paid ventriloquist with his dummy Rinaldo.

Only after a show in a nightclub. Marvelous Marvon is found dead. Peter Gunn is hired by Marcel to track down the real killer.

Not before he gives reasons why he hated Marvelous Marvon so much. Lieutenant Jacoby has no hesitation in arresting Marcel. Peter Gunn cannot fathom how did someone else came into to the room to kill the ventriloquist.

Once again there is a norirish feel how the episode is shot. The story does lull in the middle and a clever if implausible reveal. Some way to go to deal with a small problem.
