Ralph Waite plays a vengeful older man whose daughter was killed in a fire, set by a gangster. It was the wrong house. He has dedicated his life to getting the monster who did this, willing to spend the rest of his life in prison. He works the good natures of Jimmy and Jamie who try to do what is best for him, but he has ulterior motives. Alan and Tara, meanwhile, help a rich man whose wife has used him to get at his fortune by playing with a no fault divorce law. The client turns to Alan's darker side.
