SPOILER: I watched this particular episode of 'Raffles' yesterday evening and I found it funny but also offensive.
It was funny mainly due to the character played by 'Alfred Mark's (Ruben rosenthal)
A south african 'self made millionaire' who is very proud, arrogant, has a liking for brandy in vast quantities and is also racist.
The plot is based around 'Raffles' and his sidekick 'Bunny Manders' and Raffles decides to steal Ruben Rosenthal's diamond stud and diamond encrusted gold ring.
To cut a long story short,
Raffles manages to steal the stud and ring and leaves Ruben Rosenthal looking stupid.
