In the opening titles the producer's name appears twice and with two different spellings. The first credit is "Developed for Television by John Hawkesworth", and the second reads "Dramatised by John Hawksworth".
Colonel Ross notably wears monocle during the carriage ride to his stables. Monacles were typically worn by far-sighted aristocrats to aid in reading. Wearing such a device during a carriage ride is a silly affectation.
