Mark wants nothing to do with guns when his friend is killed
kfo949417 July 2012
When one of Mark's friends is killed when another boy is playing around with Lucas's rifle, Mark feels so bad that he refuses to even touch a rifle and thinks about running away to California.

It will be up to Lucas to prove to Mark that it was not the gun that killed his friend but the careless actions of others. But this will be a difficult lesson for Mark to accept.

It will not be until a escaped killer invades North Fork and Mark will have to choose between the rifle or watching others die to get over his fear of the gun. It will be a split second decision that will either help or hinder the rest of Mark's life.

A nice show for viewers.

A good shoot

Warning: Spoilers
A good episode I would have given it a 10 if Mark had shot the Outlaw and not thrown the rifle to his Pa to do it.

Mark needs to grow up
riccibilotta-167-82984724 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Marks friend and his cousin stop by, and his friend brags about the rifle. His cousin doesn't believe him, so Mark gets his pa's rifle. The kid grabs it, and he and Mark fight over it. His friend is shot and killed. Mark blames the gun, refuses to touch it again. He even decides to leave. In the end, when someone's life is in danger, Mark grabs the rifle and tossed it to his pa. The day is over, and Mark is happy again. He never takes responsibility for the accidental death of his friend, blaming the gun. And no mention of the kid who was killed. Disappointed. It could've been done better.
