A good performance from John Clive in an amusing epiaode.

There's a new Tennant in The House, Gwyn, a Preacher with a very traditional, puritan moral compass, his aim to change the house into a den if clean living

John Clive is back in the show, but this time he's playing Gwyn, The Welsh Preacher, he's a funny character, and does have a big impact on the House.

The laughs come from each character, everyone plays their part, I love the scene where Gwyn tries to convert Rigsby, but best of all is where Miss Jones attempts to seduce Gwyn.

The first time we hear any word about Alan's disappearance.

Not a classic, but generally funny.

We get our first notification that Alan has moved out. Actor Richard Beckinsale was unavailable for the final series.

Philip is forced to share the room with Gwyn. A mature theology student and a firebrand preacher who is looking for digs

Philip is not happy about this as he was under the impression that he would have the room all to himself since Alan departed.

Phillip is worried that Gwyn will try to preach to him all the time, Rigsby told Gwyn that Philip needs saving.

In retaliation Philip tells Gwyn that it is Rigsby who has fallen by the wayside and Gwyn sets his sights on converting Rigsby. He finds success when Rigsby hears the roar of thunder.

John Clive plays Gwyn with lots of zeal, his turn of phrase when he reads the passionate parts of biblical text to Miss Jones certainly arouses her.

Another amusing episode especially as Rigsby tries to get the first four weeks rent out of Gwyn and later when Rigsby sees the light.
