Nasir speaks! He has several lines in this episode.
In some ways the ancient Jewish scriptures of Qabala is used as a mirror to the ancient anglo saxon mysticism of Herne the Hunter.
Joshua de Talmont is a Jewish moneylender who visits the Sheriff of Nottingham to collect his debts. It angers the Sheriff who is unwilling to repay the monies owed.
The Sheriff has ordered Gisburne to incite riots and kill all the Jews in Nottingham. However Joshua escapes with his children including his pretty daughter Sarah as they have received a message to flee.
They escape because Gisburne has the hots for Sarah and is willing to forcibly marry her.
Meanwhile at Sherwood Forest. Things are not going well between Robin and Will Scarlett. A leadership spat which led Will to endanger Friar Tuck's life.
I felt that the abrasive relationship between Robin and Will came out of nowhere. It would had been better if tensions were brewing for a while between the two alpha males.
Also I felt for poor Little John. It would not had been easy to carry the Friar on his back, although he suspiciously looked like a dummy.
Nickolas Grace gets to overact brilliantly when he opens the religious text. It could well had been the script for the next episode.
