The title is derived from the song "There's No Business Like Show Business" from Irving Berlin's musical Annie Get Your Gun (1950) and has become an anthem for the whole entertainment industry. The song was also featured in the movie There's No Business Like Show Business (1954). The original Broadway show "Annie Get Your Gun" opened at the Imperial Theater on May 16, 1946 starring Ethel Merman and Ray Middleton and ran for 1,147 performances.
