During the pursuit of the Charger, as viewed from the inside, the windshield of the police car is cracked in front of Hooker. It had not been cracked prior to that point, and nothing had damaged it. Also, during the pursuit, the overhead lights are on then off then on again.
The pawn shop owner removed a video cassette from his security system and played it on a video cassette recorder. As soon as he pressed the 'Play' button, it showed the face of a suspect, without the pawn shop owner even rewinding to the part.
The low boom is clearly visible when Stacy speaks to the informant (after she points out the informer flagging the patrol car down, then gets out after the car pulls over to speak to him).
When questioning Doyle, Hooker mentions firing three slugs at the car he was in. Hooker actually fired a total of 5 times.
Stacy mentions Jim having a lateral transfer from the San Francisco PD to the LCPD. This is a common TV police series error. It is not possible to transfer from one agency to another, the officer would have to resign and then be hired, with no seniority carrying over.
