Good time waster

I had never seen any of the épisodes of this series which the lead character is an authentic former commissaire - superintendant - of the elite Police in Marseilles. A Vietnamese born but French man dedicated to his job. he plays here his own character. His play is not good enough to be a real actor, though, I repeat, he plays his own character !!!! A real actor would have played him better than himself. ha ha ha He tracks down a petty armed robber on the loose. It's a good character study, with some social problems as settings, to attract audiences. Home audiences on prime time.
