M.A.D. Prophet : A terrible rainstorm is coming to the island!
Penny : Another prediction.
Gadget : Well, I'm not interested. I have work to do.
[crumples up and throws the message that Chief Quimby gave him into the swimming pool not long before it self-destructs]
Chief Quimby : Oh no!
[message self destructs, causing pool water to splash all over Gadget, thinking it is rain water]
Gadget : [referring to the prophet] That guy was right! It rained!
Chief Quimby : [to himself, referring to Gadget] Oh, why do I put up with him?

Gadget : [Gadget, Penny and Brain arrive at the prophet's residence] Hello there, Mr Prophet.
M.A.D. Prophet : Leave now, Gadget! There's no place for you here!
Gadget : How do you know my name?
M.A.D. Prophet : I'm a prophet, I know everything.

Gadget : Good evening, Mr. Prophet.
M.A.D. Prophet : Hello, Inspector, I... feel I must warn you, there's a great deal of danger ahead for you! Take this.
[hands Gadget a pineapple that is filled with dynamite]
Gadget : A pineapple?
M.A.D. Prophet : A lucky pineapple! Once you eat it, nothing will harm you again!
Gadget : Oh. Thank you very much.
[just then, Brain, disguised as a hula dancer, rushes past and grabs the pineapple from Gadget]
Gadget : Hey! That's my lucky pineapple! Come back!
[Brain throws the pineapple into the ocean, and it explodes shortly afterwards]

Chief Quimby : Congratulations, Gadget.
Gadget : Thanks, Chief. What did I do?
Chief Quimby : You captured these two M.A.D. agents and defused this huge bomb before Dr. Claw could detonate it.
Gadget : Well, with Inspector Gadget on the job, the outcome is uh... predictable?
[Penny, Brain, and Chief Quimby laugh it out]

Gadget : [to the prophet, whom is in agony after getting hit on the head by an anvil that was meant for Gadget] Do you have a headache? Maybe you've been concentrating too hard.
M.A.D. Prophet : Yes, uh, maybe I have.

[Out on the ocean, Gadget is surfing, and whilst doing so, sees what he can only describe as a "bird feed", but is actually a bell buoy]
Gadget : Wowsers! What a stupid place to put a bird feed!
[Gadget bumps into the "bird feed", and a seagull is resting on top of his hat]
Gadget : [to the seagull] I suppose you think this is funny? Well, I'm not giving up that eas - Whoa, oops!
[Gadget slips on his surfboard, and falls into the water, then shortly pops his head up to the surface and spits it out]
Gadget : Too salty!

[last lines]
[Gadget, Penny and Brain have returned home from Volcano Island. Gadget tries to switch on the light, but it is burnt out. Seconds later, whilst changing the lightbulb, Gadget gets electrocuted and falls to the ground, having forgotten to turn off the power]
Gadget : Would you believe I was practising my swan dive?
[Gadget, Penny and Brain laugh it out]
