What your feeling, the whole gay thing, it's, it's so important and so... scary. And that's why I wanted today to be special for you. It's kind of like the last day of the old Spencer, ya know?

  Ashley Davies : Are you sure your ready?

  Ashley Davies : Actually, dating a girl is just like dating a guy.

  Spencer Carlin : Really?

  Ashley Davies : Except it vastly enlarges your wardrobe and if your lucky you'll have the same shoe size.

  Spencer Carlin : Wow I never thought about it that way.

  Ashley Davies : There are a lot of cool beneifts. Mostly, another girl gets you. Your ups, your downs, the openness, your vulnerability, and they can give it right back. No coaxing. No having to go out and buy a cosmo article on how to get a guy to open up. It's just all right there.

  Spencer Carlin : And the bad part?

  Ashley Davies : Dating a girls just like dating a guy. They can lie, dump you for the pretty cheerleader, screw with your head the same semi-psychotic way a guy can, and plus it's worse, they won't talk honestly about all their feelings. I mean that's one good thing about guys, they never say anything they actually listen to. Did I mention the downside?

  Spencer Carlin : I thought you already did...

  Ashley Davies : Some of your family, friends, and people who you don't even know, are probably gonna hate you.

  Spencer Carlin : Getting people to like me in high school is hard enough. Screw it I don't wanna be gay.

  Ashley Davies : You don't have a choice, you are who you are Spence.
