- The Legion of Doom uses Toyman's fantastic invention to trap three of the SuperFriends in the worlds of storybooks: "Jack and the Beanstalk", "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Gulliver's Travels".
- The Toyman's latest invention is a device that can project someone into the pages of a story book. In this fairytale world the Superfriends are forced to interact with the characters of the stories. Toyman lures Hawkman into the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, Cheetah lures Wonder Woman into Alice in Wonderland and Brainiac lures Superman into the story of Gulliver's Travels. The device can also bring a person back but if you don't get out before 12 hours expire you can be stuck inside the book forever.—tomtrekp

- The Toyman creates a device that can send anyone into the world of a storybook. He tests it out on "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", and it works perfectly. It takes him right into the underwater world of Captain Nemo and the giant octopus. Soon, he and the Legion of Doom are using the device to trick the SuperFriends inside. Toyman lures Hawkman into "Jack and the Beanstalk", where the winged hero encounters the giant of the fable. Cheetah tricks Wonder Woman into "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland". Brainiac traps Superman in "Gulliver's Travels". The other SuperFriends soon discover what has happened, but they must act quickly.
