- Using a slingshot, Bertie shoots a tiny stone at a small group of crows to chase them away.
- Ginger bites a man in the butt. Then the man accidentally steps on a garden rake that gets up and hits his head. This is all played for some comedy.
- In Ginger's flashback: A horse is whipped. A horse is almost attacked by some birds. A horse is seen falling down on the ground, apparently dying before a fire accident.
- A bridge gets destroyed during a storm. The man on the bridge falls into the river, and gets saved by another man and Black Beauty.
- Inside a horse stall, a cat chases several mice. This is followed by a fire outbreak that traps three horses. These horses gets rescued from a certain doom.
- A dog bites a man in the butt. The man attempts to hit the dog with a spiked wooden stick, but ends up hitting himself in the butt.
- Polly becomes ill with high fever. She later gets better.
- A man treatens to beat Black Beauty.
- A man pulls a boy in the ear and grabs a girl in the arm, and locks them into a room.
- A pack of rats walks slowly toward two children in an attempt to attack them. Several people chase the pack away.
- Mr. Skinner whips a man in the butt, in order to show him how to use the whip on horses.

- A man kidnaps Black Beauty, just so the horse can be sent to a dreadful place called the Black Country and stay there for the rest of his days.
- A man is punched in the face. This is followed by a brief fight, until a man falls down to an implied death, and apparently gets crushed by a falling wagon of coal.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Black Beauty is stolen so he can be sent to the Black Country as a slave. The scenes taking place at this place may scare some younger children a bit.
