Shot over two nights in June 2005, two days from the summer solstice, there were five hours of pure black sky each night (from 22:30-03:30). The pressure was on to get all the shots they needed before the sky started to change color with the impending sunrise. So even though the warm weather was perfect for shooting outdoors, choosing the height of summer proved a stressful choice for a night shoot.
