Here's a short subject showing how the British scouting movement was helping in the war effort as the Blitz rained down on England. We get a long lecture by one of the two youngsters talking about going out to the country to help farm, and then a half the film about their work during the Blitz itself, as they run errands to help coordinate rescue work during a night attack.
It's certainly not among the best propaganda films made during the Second World War, but it is a bit of good advertisement for the Boy Scouts, which had, after all, been founded by Baden-Powell with just this sort of thing in mind.
