Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A husband and his wife kiss.

One of the killers, tells the mother to remove her clothes to prove to the other killer she does not have "jelly rolls" no nudity is seen below her shoulders. Throughout the first half of the movie she is her bra and panties, the second half she is wearing an over sized sweater vest that reveals her bra through the sides.

One killer talks about the other killer having sex with his mother. But it is later stated untrue.

Violence & Gore

A young man is shot through the chest with a shotgun and he is thrown back against a wall (we see the bloody hole in his abdomen, blood sprays on the wall and he slumps down).

We hear a gunshot, we hear moaning and screaming and see blood splattered on a TV screen and a wall; and then we see a body on the floor, in a pool of blood.

A young man puts a pillowcase over a boy's head, the boy struggles and screams and a man and a woman try to get to him but are held back (the boy can still breathe).

A young man stands over an unconscious man lying on the floor and shoots him with a shotgun (we hear the gun fire but do not see anything else). A man covers the dead body of his son with a blanket (we see a large pool of blood on the floor).

A boy finds a shotgun, he threatens a young man with it, cocks the gun and pulls the trigger but the gun is not loaded.

A young man pushes a woman, ho lands on a man's wounded leg, she gets up and the young man punches her hard in the stomach causing her to fall down again; another young man kicks the wounded man in the leg and when a young boy tries to make him stop the young man pushes him to the floor and threatens him.

A man slaps a young man in the face when he becomes belligerent; the young man then strikes the man on the leg with a golf club (the man falls to the floor and we see blood on his pant leg).

A man and a woman attack two young men and scuffle, and the man is knocked unconscious and the woman is struck hard.

A woman opens the trunk of her car and her dead dog falls out and onto the ground. It is also seen from a distance.

A woman is struck with a gun and falls back onto a sofa.

A man's arm has been broken (we do not see the strike that caused the break).

We hear a dog barking for an extended period of time, we then hear a strange sound and then silence (we do not see anything but understand that dog has been possibly killed).

A young man tells a woman to choose how her husband will die (either with a knife or a gun) and we hear the husband being stabbed off-screen (he yells and moans).

A bound and gagged woman is pushed off a boat (she does not surface). A young man forces a woman to get on her knees and say a prayer to save her husband.

A boy runs to a neighbor's house where he sees a dead body in a bathroom (we see feet and legs on the floor it seems there's a bit of blood on them).

A young man throws a golf ball at a man (we hear the ball hit the wall but see the man with a bloody face later).

After an altercation that we do not see, we see a man with a bloody nose and mouth and a woman that has been bound and gagged (she coughs from the cloth stuffed in her mouth).

A young man tapes a woman's hands behind her back and her feet together at the ankles.

A young man plays a children's counting game to choose who will die first.

A young man wagers with a man, a woman and young boy that they will not be alive in the morning.

A woman vomits after seeing the dead body of her son in another room (we see goo and hear her gag).

A young man shoves a boy toward another young man and says, "He's not even house trained" and we see the boy has wet his pants.

You see the dead body of the son. which is covered up soon. before the son is killed he is followed through a large house which is very intense and will keep you at the edge of your seat. thats the part where you dont have any idea of whats going to happen.

Profanity

5 F-words, 10 scatological terms, 2 anatomical terms, 4 mild obscenities, name-calling (old man, tubby, stupid, disgusting, brat, spoiled, white trash, butt-head, coward), 6 religious exclamations.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking

A woman smokes a cigarette in a couple of scenes. A young man talks about another young man being a drug addict, and that he is one also.

The suitability of this film for minors can't really be determined from a simple listing of conventionally "graphic" scenes or depictions. While the explicit content of the film is, by modern standards, fairly benign, psychologically it is profoundly disturbing. The violence, while not actually shown, is nonetheless very challenging to the viewer, and there is a strong, visceral sense of terror and dread throughout the duration of the film.
