Frightening & Intense Scenes
-
- The movie focuses on complex and serious things like grief and how the horrific death of a loved one can have horrific consequences on the family. - There is a few very frightening and realistic images that display death in close up shots. Sometimes the camera will be positioned in a dark room and a ghostly apparition can appear. Sometimes you don't see the apparition until the camera zooms in to where it is. This can be very frightening and creepy.

Sex & Nudity
- In one scene we see Alice, in a grainy home movie, "having sex" with her neighbor and his wife. A man is shown, from behind, thrusting into a woman lying on a bed while she moans. A naked woman kneels nearby. Reminder Alice is sixteen.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The photos where the figure of Alice is seen may be disturbing and unsettling to some viewers, particularly younger ones. There is a scene where we see through Alice's cellphone, footage where she faces herself the way she died, bloated and disfigured, we understand this in the movie as a form of premonition. This is, for sure, the scariest scene in the picture. This is the only "jumpscare" in the entire film, and has earned the film a reputation for being unrelentingly frightening. The image of Alice's corpse attacking her will frighten most viewers.
