Superbad attained mostly good reviews but did pick up some less than appreciative comments along the way. On Rotten Tomatoes it has a very solid 87% approval rating and a critical consensus indicating it's a vulgar teen flick, but with genuine heart and wit.

Basically the Unrated version features several prolonged dialogue sequences that add up to a total difference of approximately 6 minutes. These extensions aren't that scandalous but for a fan of this movie this version is worth a look and features some more funny scenes.
