  David Moran : Shh...

  David Moran : Don't talk.

  Meg Loughlin : Do me a favor?

  [David cups her shoulder lightly before getting up, going over to Ruth's body and ripping the necklace with the ring off her neck. He then lies back down beside Meg and gently closes her hand around the ring and holding it in his own]

  Meg Loughlin : I thought at first you were a dream... I think you've been that for me... a dream. I have dreams. I have them and then they go away...

  [David becomes increasingly emotional] 

  Meg Loughlin : I don't understand... how... how she could... hurt me down there...

  David Moran : [stammering through tears]  Please... don't...

  Meg Loughlin : You're taking care of me now, aren't you?

  David Moran : Yes.

  Meg Loughlin : Susan too?

  David Moran : Yes.

  Meg Loughlin : [mumbling incoherently, and then...]  I think... I love you.

  David Moran : [realizing she has passed away]  No...
