A little bit more detail about Burke's trial and conviction.
mark.waltz28 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
It's time for another confrontation with Burke Devlin, and this time it is constable Carter (Michael Currie) who was apparently around when Burke was on trial. In fact, he uses Burke's own words against him. Meanwhile, Joe Haskell makes his own threats against Burke while having lunch with Carolyn. She later visits Burke and makes her own accusations against him. It's a great moment for the perky Nancy Barrett who is a lot more complex than your typical 60's pretty blonde.

A fast-paced 20 minutes
Leofwine_draca23 February 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 24 is a fast-paced little offering in which the Collin family barely come into it and Victoria Winters is all but a distant memory. Burke Devlin takes centre stage once again and Mitchell Ryan certainly proves up to the job. He juggles his police interview scenes and his plot development with finesse making this an enjoyable little 20 minutes. A couple of other peripheral characters and sub-plots are included to widen the scope a little.

"Have You Ever Sat on a Wrench?"
wes-connors1 August 2011
At the Collins Port Inn, Constable Carter (Michael Currie) interrogates Burke (Mitchell Ryan) about Roger's car crash. We learn a direct quote from 1956 when Carter reveals what Burke said upon conviction, "I'll get you, Collins, no matter what I do! You'll be sorry you ever took that witness stand!" Lunching with Joe (Joel Crothers) at the hotel restaurant after a shopping spree, Carolyn (Nancy Barrett) is also questioned. Waitress Maggie (Kathryn Leigh Scott) serves one of the series' busier extras, Timothy Gordon, at the counter. Swearing off his character's guilty conscience, Mr. Ryan appears instead to be struggling for lines. Joe's fisherman pal Jerry and his wife are never seen...
